Head Area Controlling 100% (all genders)
In this dynamic and challenging position, you are responsible for regional financial operations, building the liaison with group finance and support the Area Manager in the strategic development of the region. The following variety of tasks is waiting for you:
Your tasks
- Lead and manage the finance team for the Central European region and report to the head office in Zug, Switzerland, as a central member of the area leadership team
- Ensure that all eight Central European entities complete their monthly and annual reporting ac-cording to Swiss GAAP FER in a timely, consistent and accurate way
- Supervise the delivery of the monthly management accounts and area reports
- Support the local finance teams in all business related matters
- Propose improvements and strategic developments for the different entities and the entire area
- Analyze, build and question reports for improvements and feedback to local management and area management
- Sparring partner for the Central Europe Area Manager
- Central European finance stream project lead for the implementation of the new ERP system Microsoft D365
- Oversee the implementation of group accounting policies and processes and ensure that they follow best practice as the new ERP system is rolled out
- Ensure the effectiveness of the internal control system, risk management and quality standards
Your qualifications
- University degree in business administration with focus on finance/controlling
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in an international context and/or a similar role
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken), additional languages are a plus
- Profound knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER, performance management and reporting processes
- Experience with Microsoft D365 desirable
- Strong analytical skills and people management skills
- Flexible and reliable personality with the ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to travel (about 20%)
