Toolless Fixing Screw: A "tool-less" solution for tightening fasteners

Toolless BoltScrews are the most common component used in joint mechanisms. To assemble them, a hand tool such as a screwdriver or a wrench is usually required. In some situations, however, it is not always possible to obtain the right tool immediately. This is especially the case with products that require frequently adjustments.

The toolless screws were developed specifically for this type of requirement.

The toolless screw is the best solution to achieve maximum torque in the smallest space. Its patented design allows the user to tighten and loosen the screw directly without tools. This is not only practical and space-saving, but also provides a hidden anti-theft function, as the handle is not visible.

Smart Design

The tool-free fastening solution comprises a fastening element with a housing and a mounting tool element. The assembly tool element can be hidden in the screw body so that it is not visible. Once the assembly tool is pulled out and positioned perpendicular to the screw body, it acts as a lever to tighten and loosen the screw. In this way, toolless fasteners eliminate the problems of conventional fastening systems:

  1. Complicated tool management: Conventional fastening technology typically requires the use of various tools, such as wrenches and screwdrivers, which can be complicated.
  2. Work environment constraints: In challenging work environments, such as at heights, handling many tools requires more effort and energy.
  3. Increased time consumption: Using different tools takes more time, which affects production efficiency.

  • Sports and outdoor products (bicycles, sports equipment, etc.)
  • Automobiles and other vehicles
  • Construction and interior decoration (doors and windows, painting wall hangings, etc.)
  • Packaging and transportation (boxes, cartons, transportation equipment, etc.)
  • Commercial and industrial supplies (storage racks, industrial machinery, etc.)
  • Convenience (e.g. for bicycle quick release)
  • Anti-theft (combined with a lock at the head)
  • Suitable for applications with room constraints
  • Decreased risk of accidental joint loosening
