DIRAK® SNAP Technology

DIRAK®’s pioneering SNAP Technology (DST) allows you to create high-strength connections without the use of any tools. Their products slide perfectly through the panel cut-out and snap into position, creating a strong and secure connection. There is no possibility for loosening or turning. Thus, DIRAK® SNAP Technology combines flexibility, convenience, and reliability in every application.

Quarter Turns

DIRAK® offers quarter turns with a variety of unique properties, such as compression quarter-turns with vibration resistance. In addition, they provide individual components to complement the standard portfolio, such as customized gaskets, grounding clips, and more.

Features:

  • Modular configuration
  • Over 30 standard inserts for quarter-turns
  • Customized assembly using screws, welding or without tools (DST)
  • Materials: Zinc, diecast, polyamide, or stainless steel

Swing Handles

Compared to simple quarter turns, swing handles offer a much higher torque. This makes these latches ideal for managing access to server racks, for example. DIRAK® also offers systems for special applications, such as:

  • 1-, 2-, and 3-point latching systems
  • Mechatronically secured latches
  • Latches with locking cylinder or actuator
  • Flush-mounted and visible handles
  • Tool-free installation
  • Versions in zinc diecast, polyamide or stainless steel

To provide additional security, DIRAK® offers rod latches for multi-point locking.

Fastening Technology

DIRAK®’s toolless fastening elements have been specially developed for demanding industrial environments. The assembly process is quick and easy, allowing for easy insertion into sheet metal panels and enclosures.

Features:

  • Fasteners for two metal sheets
  • Single or double fasteners
  • Can be disassembled from the outside and/or the inside
  • Cage nuts

Latches

DIRAK® offers standard latches as well as numerous latching systems for special applications. Examples include:

  • Lift-and-turn latches
  • Snap locks (including adjustable snap locks and stainless-steel snap locks)
  • Compression latches (also flush and/or clip-on)
  • Tension locks (including adjustable tension locks and stainless-steel tension locks)
  • Slam latches (including stainless steel latches with outstanding corrosion resistance)
  • Quick locks, rim locks and vertical bolts
  • Toolless installation options (DST)

Multipoint Latches

DIRAK®’s multi-point rod latches ensure your doors are securely closed and locked, granting you peace of mind. The multi-point latches can be seamlessly integrated into various quarter turns, swing handles, T-handles, and L-handles and they function with both round and flat rods.

DIRAK® multi-point latches are easy to use, flexible, and can be installed with screws or without traditional hardware and tools. They are ideal for application areas that require high vibration and shock resistance and demand a consistent contact pressure over the entire edge length, such as:

  • Rail transportation
  • Traffic engineering, infrastructure, and tunnel construction
  • Data centers, network cabinets and IT
  • Energy and environmental technology

Hinges

Most DIRAK® handles utilize their SNAP Technology and can be installed without tools. They are available in zinc diecast, polyamide, or stainless steel variants.
