How It Works
The design of WITOL® fasteners enables precise and tension-free tolerance compensation between two components. A WITOL® consists of four elements:
- Base element
- Fastening element
- Spring element
- Compensation element
Due to the rotation of the driven screw, tolerances are compensated directly in the bolting process – automatically and simultaneously. In this way, a WITOL® fastener creates a tension-free bolted joint in a process-safe manner.
