Mecatraction® develops and manufactures ready-made components for electrical connection technology. Typical applications include rail, automotive, aerospace, nuclear power, renewable energy, shipbuilding, and defense.
Tubular cable lugs are used to easily establish electrical contact with cable conductors or individual wires (stranded wires/cables) by means of screws. They are made of electrolytic copper in accordance with EN 13600.
Because they are manufactured using different crimping dies, tubular cable lugs do not have crimping marks, unlike crimp-type cable lugs conforming to DIN 46235. They also differ in their dimensions and are generally shorter.
