FILTEC® wire threaded inserts allow you to create high-strength threads with optimal transmission from the bolt to the nut thread.
FILTEC® inserts are ideal for reinforcing threads in materials with low shear strength, such as aluminum or magnesium, and are therefore indispensable in industries such as mechanical and plant engineering, electronics, automotive, and aerospace. FILTEC® threaded inserts allow you to create a virtually “wear-free” thread.
The standard FILTEC+® threaded insert simplifies installation for the user significantly. Thanks to its optimized design, installing the insert is as easy as installing a screw. A simple setting spindle is all that is needed for assembly.
This special wire thread insert features one or more polygonal threads that apply pressure to the flanks of the installed screw. It is particularly suitable for applications subject to alternating loads or vibrations. This eliminates the need for additional screw locks.
