Tribological dry coatings

In the course of a strategic reorientation, Bossard has decided to discontinue offering the coatings under the brand name "ecosyn®-lubric". The marketing of the coatings relies entirely on the expertise of the chemical manufacturers and their licensees or local coating service providers.

Bossard ecosyn®-lubric Black/Silver as tribological coatings will now be marketed under the CresaCoat® brand by CREDIMEX. CREDIMEX uses the same coatings as well as the same machines and production processes, thus ensuring that the coatings are applied in an equivalent manner. The change of the designations is documented by an equivalence confirmation from CREDIMEX and is being implemented since November 2022.

Neither this confirmation of equivalence nor the information on the data sheets may be used as a substitute for customer testing to ensure that the coated product is reliable, effective and fully satisfactory for the intended end use. In particular, Credimex AG disclaims all liability for specified friction value ranges.

We are happy to support you with our experience to find the optimal solution for your specific application requirements and also to validate your solution.

Explanations of coating solutions

The surface systems are used to optimize the coefficient of friction and improve protection against corrosion. They consist of compositions such as organic solid lubricants and fluoropolymers and can be designed according to your requirements.

Tribological dry coating is a system solution for mechanically stressed fastening elements and components, such as screws, nuts and washers. The coating is a non-electrolytically applied thin layer with integrated lubrication properties and additional corrosion protection.

Advantages:

  • Small friction coefficient scattering
  • Protection against contact corrosion
  • Good sliding properties and thus protection against seizing up
  • No impact on mechanical properties
  • No risk of hydrogen embrittlement
  • Permanent lubrication

The requirements for fasteners with a tribological coating should be clarified in advance, in particular, the friction values should be validated!

AntiFriction - dry coatings are a simple, clean, safe and economical solution for efficient installation.

Product characteristics (according to the coater's data sheet).

For fasteners with a tribological dry coating, the requirements must be clarified in advance. In particular, a validation of the friction values is required for nominal dimensions >M12!

Coating Code 573 - CresaCoat® C 112
AF573

AntiFriction – for demanding, friction-reducing conditions at high pressure loads, proven slide function using MoS2 and high temperature resistance.

Product characteristics (according to the coater's data sheet).

For fasteners with a tribological dry coating, the requirements must be clarified in advance. In particular, the friction values should be validated!

Coating Code 559 - CresaCoat® C 702
AF559

AntiFriction – for demanding, abrasion-resistant requirements for process-secure self-tapping screws in aluminum using synthetic solid lubricants.

Product characteristics (according to the coater's data sheet).

For fasteners with a tribological dry coating, the requirements must be clarified in advance. In particular, the friction values should be validated!

Coating Code 588 - CresaCoat® C 905
